White corundum abrasive

White corundum abrasive is made from alumina by high temperature melting. It is white, slightly higher in hardness and lower in toughness than brown corundum. The abrasive tools made of white corundum are suitable for grinding high carbon steel, high speed steel and quenched steel. White corundum abrasives and sub white corundum abrasives can be used as grinding and polishing materials, as well as precision casting molding sand, spraying materials, chemical catalyst carriers, special ceramics, advanced refractories, etc.

White corundum abrasive performance: white, harder and more brittle than brown corundum, strong cutting force, good chemical stability, and good insulation.

Application scope of white corundum abrasive: it can be used as solid structure and coated abrasive tools, wet or dry jet sand, suitable for ultra precision grinding and polishing in crystal and electronic industries, and for making advanced refractory materials. Suitable for processing hardened steel, alloy steel, high-speed steel, high carbon steel and other materials with higher hardness and tensile strength. White corundum abrasive can also be used as contact medium, insulator and precision casting sand.
